QUETTA, Aug 5: About 3.3599 million voters would exercise their right of franchise in the forthcoming local government elections in Balochistan. According to voter’s list prepared by the provincial election commission, the number of male voters (including non-Muslims) in the province is 1.8119 million and that of female voters (including non-Muslims) is 1.548033 million. The total number of non-Muslim male voters is 15763 and non-Muslim female voters is 13754.
The number of voters, district-wise is as follows: Quetta, 487593 (279113 male and 208470 female), Pishin, 223483 (male 112533 and female 110950), Qilla Abdullah, 247211 (male 130415 and female 116796), Nushki, 54087 (29181 male and 24906 female), Chagai, 54105 (29945 male and 24160 female), Loralai, 115130 (62512 male and 52618 female), Zhob 86269 (51551 male and 34718 female).
