MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 14: Pakistani and Indian troops resumed exchanges of artillery fire across the Kashmir border on Monday after a day’s lull, police said.
They said Indian troops resumed shelling at 5:45pm without provocation and were targeting the villages of Digwar, Chirikot and Sehrian in the Bagh district.
“The shelling is continuing and they are using both small and big arms,” a police official said, adding that the Pakistan army was returning fire.
“There is no initial report of any casualties,” the official said.
