Tehran, Jan 14: A total of 12 countries, including Pakistan have so far confirmed participation in the 10-Day Iranian international track-and-field tournament.

Mir-Shahab Mo’meni said Brunei, Kuwait, Oman, Armenia, Republic of Azerbaijan, Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey have up to now expressed willingness for taking part in the international contests.

The 14th international indoor athletics event is to be held between Feb 7-9 in Yadegar-e Imam sports complex, Rasht in Gilan Province.—PPI
