KARACHI, Aug 1: Ten ships carrying containers, base and crude oil and loading naphtha are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Maritime Skill, to offload coal, Regine, Shun-e 2, to unload and load general cargo, Adhidaya, to unload oil, Iran Zanjan and Bunga Kenari, with containers, took berth.

Sailing on the other hand was fairly brisk as over a dozen ships, including Thor Captain, Jade Trader, Wan Hai-266, Sagamore, Wester Muehlen, Celtic, Terrier, Swat, Lahy Juliet, Keefan, Reine, Dina Queesn, Dan Yang and Shun-E-2, departed, while Bunga Kenari, Ulysses-2 and Adhidaya are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.128m tons comprising 19,328 tons of export cargo and 0.109m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Lalazar, with 65,000 tons of crude oil, Oriental Kerria, with 7,600 tons of base oil, Pacific Ace, to load 29,500 tons of naphtha, Corin Thaikos, Yang Jiang He, Kota Teraju, Ever Gather, APL Cairo, Monoxylion and Harmony, with containers.
