SWABI, July 31: President British Pukhtun Association Fazal Rabi Khan has said that dust of the London blasts may settle soon but the Muslims have been facing numerous difficulties since the July 7 bombing.

He was talking to journalists here on Sunday. BPA general secretary Javed Khan Yousafzai, coordinator Asad Qaisar and other office-bearers were present on the occasion.

Mr Fazal dilated upon various aspects of four suicide attacks in central London, which claimed 52 lives and injured 700 people. He said after realising impacts of the incidents on the Muslims community his association constituted an All Muslims Action Committee to help innocent people and cooperate with the British authorities.

Police were carrying out raids, especially on Muslims, to pacify people. Otherwise, he said, it is totally a wrong perception that the Muslims are terrorists. He said the BPA had also issued instructions to the Muslims for dealing with the new emerging difficulties.

“We have constituted a lawyers’ group, a media group and an inter-faith group and these three groups have been working for protection of the Muslims”, he said.

Answering a question, he said that those who were involved in the blasts were British subjects and it was wrong to hold Pakistan responsible for them.

He said the Muslims should not be made responsible for the terrorist activities in the world because they were reaction to the policies adopted by the American president and the British prime minister in respect of Iraq and Afghanistan.

COMPUTERS: The BPA leaders announced to provide computers to the schools and colleges in NWFP. In district Swabi each government high school would get 10 computers.

In Dir district, the Government College Timergara would get 25 computers and in Kohat the District Government High School Nargha would be provided computers in the same number. Main purpose of arranging these computers is to provide more opportunities to poor students.
