GUJRANWALA, July 31: Dacoits looted the house of an industrialist, a medicine company shop and took away a motorcycle in three strikes in and around the city here on Sunday.
Reports said three alleged outlaws forced their entry into the house of Riaz Ahmad in Eminabad by scaling the boundary wall. They held hostage the inmates and took away jewellery worth Rs400,000, Rs20,000 cash and other valuables at gunpoint.
Two robbers entered a medicine company shop owned by Dr Qamar in Bawa street. They held hostage the owner and made off with Rs116,000 at gunpoint.
Three robbers intercepted a passer-by, Muhammad Amin, in Sultanpura locality of Ghakkhar Town and deprived him of Rs11,000, a mobile phone and a motorcycle when he was on his way back home from the market.
