More than 200 stalls of housing and allied industries were set up at the exhibition which was organized jointly by the Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) and the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD). Thousands of people visited the exhibition where various builders had put up models of their upcoming projects.
Speaking to newsmen on the concluding day the chief controller of buildings, Brig (retd) A.S. Nasir described the exhibition a mega event.
He said that it would promote housing and construction activities in the city and would also pave way for the construction of high-rises and well-equipped buildings.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim gave the KBCA’s excellence awards to provincial adviser on local government, Wasim Akhtar, senior controller of buildings, Mohammad Shafiq and ABAD’s chairman, Babar Mirza Chughtai.
