Snooker camp planned

KARACHI, July 6: Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) is planning a weeklong training camp for the squad who will play Asian snooker championship in Bangkok, Thailand from July 24 to 31.

Manager Designate Shahnawaz Khan said on Wednesday that PBSA chief Asghar Valika had authorised him to conduct the camp. The dates would be finalized later, he said.

He said he was considering inviting Naveen Perwani and Atiq Latif in order to provide valuable practice sessions to seasoned campaigners Saleh Mohammad and Mohammad Yousuf who would represent the country at the Asian event.—APP
