LAHORE, Jan 11: Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan (Nifaz-i-Shariat) president Engr Salimullah Khan urged the government on Thursday to reject dictation from the United Sates and India and continue the policy on Kashmir and jihad.
Speaking at a news conference here, he said a change of policy would amount to negation of the two-nation theory.
Engr Khan said the government and the nation should prepare for jihad against India. He said the power should be transferred to a caretaker government of religious and political parties. He also urged the government to hold election to the national and provincial assemblies by March 23.
