LAHORE, Jan 11: The US military presence in Pakistan has been challenged in the Lahore High Court as an infringement of national sovereignty.

The petitioner, Advocate M.D. Tahir, particularly requested the court that the reported permission to the US forces to enter Pakistan to search for Taliban officials and Al Qaeda members be declared unconstitutional, un-Islamic and against the national interest. — Staff Reporter
