KARACHI, June 12: Begum Mehmooda Sultana, mother of State Minister for Religious Affairs Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain, passed away on Sunday. Known for her social welfare activities, she was buried in the compound of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s shrine. Soyem will be held on Tuesday after Asr prayers at her residence in Khudadad Colony.—APP
