SHIKARPUR, May 7: Two persons belonging to Jatoi tribe were shot dead by a group of unidentified armed men on Chak-Lakhi link road near the Qasim Mahar village on Saturday. Khair Mohammad Badani Jatoi and his relative Amanullah Badani Jatoi were on their way in a pick-up to Sukkur via Chak-Lakhi Ghulam Shah when armed men intercepted them and after confirming their identification shot them on the road.

The accused while firing in the air escaped from the scene. The motive behind the incident is said to be the result of Mahar-Jatoi feud.—Correspondent
