KARACHI, Aug 29: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said on Friday that a Pakistani team would go to India to resume negotiations on the restoration of air links.
He was replying to a question asked on the recently inconclusive talks between Pakistan and India on the issue of air links restoration. “We want restoration of air links,” he stressed.
Speaking to newsmen after giving away trophies to exporters at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry function here on Friday evening, Mr Jamali expressed the confidence that the Mumbai blasts would not affect the bilateral normalization initiatives taken at various levels.
Answering another question, the prime minister said his government was trying to persuade the opposition into accepting the LFO.
