RAWALPINDI, Jan 5: Rawalpindi mopped up Islamabad’s tail in just eight overs Saturday for a 115-run victory in their Quaid Trophy Grade-I match at the KRL Stadium.
Islamabad, who were a precarious 140 for seven overnight, succumbed to the pace of Mohammad Zahid and Naeem Akhtar who earned their side 12 points with figures of five for 61 and four for 34 respectively.
Rao Iftikhar, not out on 15 Friday, made a respectable 43.
