SARGODHA, Aug 23: Midh Ranjha police on Saturday registered a case against five culprits who shot dead a man and his son in Bharkan Noon village.

Allah Yar and his sons Muhammad Hussain and Yousaf were working in the fields when Nawaz, Sheri, Nawaz and two others accomplices came there and fired at them. As a result, Allah Yar and his son Muhammad Hussain died on the spot. The assailants suspected that the deceased had provided information to Mandi Bahauddin police who raided their outhouse.

Till the filing of this report, the police have arrested two accused.
