ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has started a drive for the education and facilitation of taxpayers as a part of restructuring of tax administration.

Habib Fakhruddin, Member Taxpayers Education and Facilitation CBR, told newsmen here on Tuesday that in this connection four taxpayers facilitation guide-books were prepared by the board.

He said the guide-books (brochures) would help taxpayers understand the subject of taxation of income from salary; how to fill-in the returns for income tax year 2003; taxation of income from property.

The member said that these brochures would be distributed among all taxpayers. He further said these could be easily obtained from all tax offices.
