KARACHI: Chemists threaten strike

KARACHI, Aug 17: The Wholesale Chemist Council of Pakistan has announced that if their five percent discount is not restored by the pharmaceutical companies, they will be forced to observe a countrywide strike on Aug 29.

Speaking at a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, WCCP president Haji Muhammad Hanif Blue, flanked by Shakil Nagar and Ghulam Muhammad Noorani, said a convention of traders would be held on Aug 26 to finalize the arrangements for the strike. — Staff Reporter
