Rs3.2m textile machinery stolen

JOHARABAD, Aug 12: Thieves took away Rs3.2 million worth machinery from a local textile mills.

Reportedly, the mills had been closed for a long period and its security was entrusted to a private company. Later, the mills owner had given the security contract to another company which found the machinery missing during checking.

Joharabad police registered a case on Tuesday.

ELECTROCUTED: A youth was electrocuted at Mauza Shahwala on Tuesday.

Hafiz Umer Hayat was ironing his clothes when he suffered electric shock and died on the spot. —APP
