SINGAPORE, Aug 9: Economic data to be released in Singapore next week should determine sentiment on the local stock market, dealers said on Friday.

The government is scheduled to release the final figures for the second quarter to June gross domestic product on Monday, and give a more definitive outlook for the rest of the year.

An initial estimate based on two months of data released earlier said GDP contracted 4.3 in the three months to June.—AFP
