QUETTA, Aug 8: Unknown men fired nine rockets at a Frontier Corps’ checkpoint and a telephone exchange in Kohlu in the early hours of Friday, police said.

According to sources, the rockets exploded with brief intervals near the checkpoint and the town’s telephone exchange, spreading panic among the people.

“Rockets were fired at the FC checkpoint early in the morning from the Jandran mountain range,” a local administration official confirmed over telephone.
