LAHORE, Aug 6: Governor Khalid Maqbool will visit the Federal Investigation Agency on Friday to inspect its performance and measures to be taken to establish anti-terrorism and cyber crime cells.
He is expected to announce some financial aid to the agency for taking measures to control crimes, especially the human smuggling business.
Meanwhile, the immigration staff, including deputy director Tanvir Ahmad, has been shifted from the FIA building to the airport. The staff of the newly- established Special Investigation Group will be accommodated in the vacated offices.
The five-member staff of the SIG, Lahore, has been undergoing training at the FIA Training Academy, Islamabad, which will be completed in October.
