KARACHI, Dec 20: M. Shoaib Shaheen was elected president of the Pakistan Service Bar Association on Saturday.
The Pakistan Bar Council conducted the balloting for the newly-formed association in Islamabad and the four provincial capitals. The association has about 850 members all over the country.
According to the results received in Karachi, Mohammad Nawaz Shaikh was elected vice-president from Sindh, Mian Mehmood Husain from Punjab, Kazim Hussain Kazmi from the federal capital and Khushdil Khan from the NWFP. Sardar Abdul Raziq, Irfan Farooq and G.N. Shahid were voted general secretary, finance secretary and joint secretary, respectively.
