ISLAMABAD, Dec 31: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced Higher Secondary School Certificate (Supplementary) Examination 2001 results here on Monday.

According to a press release, issued by the FBISE, 3,070 candidates have passed the examination, which was held in October 2001. A total of 6,741 candidates, including 3,905 males and 2,836 females, had appeared in the examination. The pass percentage is 45.98, it says.

The statistics, released by the Board, show that 3,607 candidates have been declared fail and results of 51 candidates have been withheld for various reasons. The press release states that 13 unfair means cases were registered in the examination.

It says result cards are being dispatched to the candidates on respective addresses given by them in their admission forms for the purposes. The result cards of the candidates, who had appeared from abroad, are being dispatched to the heads of institutions from where they had appeared in the examination.

Similarly, the result cards of the candidates belonging to Northern Areas are being sent to the sub-offices in Gilgit and Skardu.
