LAHORE, Dec 31: An aggrieved family of Kailay village in the limits of Pasrur police station, Sialkot district, has appealed to the Punjab IGP to provide them protection from the murderers of their son.
Haji Abdul Hameed, whose son Abdul Razzaq was murdered two years ago, alleged on Monday that the accused party was hurling threats of killing his another son Abdul Haq for pursuing the case. He alleged that their rivals had barged into his house on Nov 15 and looted cash and jewellery after injuring him and the women inmates.
He said that the police had registered an FIR but the case was discharged without any investigation because one of the police officials was related to the accused party.
He urged the IGP to order an impartial inquiry into the case besides making the recovery of looted cash and valuables from the accused party.—APP
