DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 31: Unidentified persons shot dead a man, Nazir Hussain, son of Malik Elahi Bakhsh, in Mohammad Hayatullah area, on Monday.

His body was found in the street by some passers-by, who informed the police.

His relatives were informed about his death and he was laid to rest in the evening amidst strict security arrangements to avert any untoward sectarian incident.
