QUETTA, Nov 20: Customs officials have seized a Toyota pick-up and a speed boat from the Shabi Hor area, some 20km away from Gwadar, along the Pishukan coastline and recovered two tons of hashish, said a press release of the collectorate of customs here on Thursday.

The customs officials had received information about the smuggling of a huge quantity of drugs at Shabi Hor from the interiors of Balochistan to abroad on Wednesday last. A special team was dispatched to the site where smugglers were loading narcotics from a pick-up to a speed boat. The smugglers fled leaving behind the pick-up, boat and two tons of hashish packed in 50 bags of 40kg each.—APP
