HYDERABAD, Nov 6, A large number of villagers of Goth Noor Khan Chang, union council-4, Qasimabad, held a protest demonstration on Thursday outside the Hyderabad Press Club against the raid on their village by Choudhry Aftab and Choudhry Zulfiqar along with a heavy contingent of police on Wednesday.

The villagers said that the village was attacked to harass and intimidate the villagers with a view to dispossessing them of their lands.

They said that they had held a press conference recently against the Choudhrys who had occupied their ancestral lands.

They said the attack on the village was a reaction to the press conference. They demanded that legal action be taken against the Choudhrys.
