LONDON Oct 13: Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee chairman Gen Mohammad Aziz Khan left here for a week-long visit to the United States at the end of his six-day visit to the United Kingdom.
During his stay in the United Kingdom, he held discussion with British military officials on improving the bilateral military cooperation between the two countries besides meeting with British Secretary of State for Defence Sir Geoff Hoon, British Chief of the Defence Staff Gen Sir Michael Walker.
He also met Permanent Under-Secretary for Defence Sir Kevin Tebbit, Chief of the General Staff Sir Mike Jackson, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup, Commander-in-Chief Fleet Admiral Sir Jonathon Band, Chief of Joint Operations
Lt Gen John Reith and Cdr Field Army Lt Gen Sir Cedric Delves.
He also visited various operational and military training Establishments in the United Kingdom.—APP
