SAHIWAL, Oct 12: Hepatitis claimed six lives in the Grain Market area during the last fortnight.

Grain Market People Association office-bearers told newsmen on Sunday that hepatitis had spread in the locality due to the supply of contaminated water.

They claimed that six people — Sultan, Iqbal, Akbar, Tariq, Qurban and Maqsood — had fallen prey to the disease in a fortnight.
