74pc pass MBBS 2nd professional

RAWALPINDI, Oct 8: As many as 74 per cent students were declared successful in the University of Health Sciences’ MBBS second professional examination.

The result was announced on Wednesday, four days after the conclusion of the examinations.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Mubashir Malik said it was a historic occasion as previously it took several months for the Punjab university to announce the results.

Local student Naseem Arshad of Rawalpindi Medical College bagged the third position by securing 332 marks out of 500. On the other hand, Maryam Naeem bagged the first position while Bushra Latif stood second with 335 marks.

The candidates who failed in the examination have been asked to submit their admission forms by October 23. The second annual exam would commence from November 18.
