KARACHI, Oct 4: Pakistan Boxing federation (PBF) on Saturday announced its two team for the forthcoming Green Hill Cup boxing tournament to be organized here from Oct 8.
The two team names Pakistan Greens and Whites have been selected by national coach Renaldo Alveraz.
Squads:
Pakistan Greens: Light-flyweight Noman Kareem, flyweight Akhtar Pervaiz, bantamweight Meherullah, featherweight Sohail Baloch, lightweight Asghar Ali Shah, light-welterweight Ibraheem, welterweight Dur Mohammad Baloch, middleweight Ahmad Ali Khan, light-heavyweight Tanveer Shaukat, heavyweight Abdur Razzaq and super-heavyweight Muzaffar Iqbal.
Pakistan Whites: Light-flyweight Mushtaq, flyweight Shoaib Rasheed, bantamweight Tariq Zia, featherweight Zahid Baloch, lightweight Sajid Raja, light-welterweight Mohammad Yasir, welterweight Muzzamil, middleweight Mushtaq Ahmad, light-heavyweight Allah Bukhsh, heavyweight Hassan and super-heavyweight Saifullah Niazi.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan, who will take part in the tournament for the first time, also named their squad.
Afghanistan: Lightweight Tameem Ahmad, light-welterweight Naeem Ahmad, welterweight Waheedullah, middleweight Saeed Mohammad, and light-heavyweight Jamshaidullah.
Officials: Abdul Saboor (manager), Abdul Ghafoor Raghbat (coach), and Faiz Mohammad Karmand (assistant coach).
