GUJRAT, Sept 28: Two rival groups resorted to aerial firing outside a mosque in Mohallah Khwajgan here on Sunday morning.

Sources said people were gathering for a Chehlum when the groups, allegedly led by Ishtiaq and Ali Shah, resorted to aerial firing following an exchange of harsh words.

The incident created panic among residents of the locality.

The B-Division police picked up five members of the Ishtiaq Group. — Correspondent
