PESHAWAR, Sept 23: To get relief from scorching heat people in the NWFP have been asked to offer special prayers for rain.

Provincial Minister for Zakat Hafiz Hashmat Khan made the announcement during the assembly proceedings on Tuesday and invited the MPAs to join hands with the government during a special prayers (Namaz-i-Istisqa) to be offered at Jinnah Park on Wednesday.—PPI
