LUMS, GIK institute agree to collaborate

SWABI, Sept 15: The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology have agreed to collaborate on making progress in the field of engineering sciences and technology.

The understanding reached at talks held between the representatives of two institutions on Monday.

The LUMS delegation included its rector Razzaq Dawood, pro-chancellor Syed Babar Ali and Aftab Salim. The GIK institute was represented among others by a member of the board of governors, Shamsul Mulk and its rector, Prof Dr Mohammad Naseer Khan.

The teams discussed the curriculum, academic activities, research facilities, techniques for imparting modern education, collaboration with foreign universities and employment rate of the students.—Correspondent
