NAWABSHAH, Sept 8: A woman, Basra Khatoon, has appealed the authorities to provide her protection against a man who wants to occupy her land.

Talking to journalists at the local press club on Monday, she said that Ismail Dahri, who claimed to be a manager of former senator Asif Ali Zardari, wanted to occupy her 64 acres of land in the Doulatpur area.

She alleged that Ismail with the help of the district Nazim had managed to send her four relatives to the lockup of the Doulatpur police station to pressure her.

She further said that recently, Ismail with Ibrahim Dahri, Asghar Dahri, Ali Murad Bhutto and eight others barged into her house and tried to criminally assault her daughter and issued threats, asking them to hand over the land to them.—BoC
