BUENOS AIRES, Sept 8: Argentina has the “will” to reach an accord with the International Monetary Fund, Interior Minister Anibal Fernandez said on Monday, fewer than 24 hours before a $3.151 billion payment to the Fund falls due.

“The Argentine government has the will to reach an agreement with the IMF but

conditions that put at risk the country’s nascent economic recovery will not be accepted,” Fernandez told local media.—AFP
