KARACHI: Medical entry test venue changed

KARACHI, Sept 6: About 9,000 students have applied for admissions to MBBS and BDS classes at five medical colleges and a university in the province, sources in the provincial Health department said.

Arrangements have been made for holding entry tests for the applicants at three centres in the province. The Bahria University would hold the entry test and prepare the merit lists for admissions against 923 MBBS and BDS merit seats.

According to a high official of the department, the entry tests will be held on Sept 14, simultaneously at PNS Bahadur, Stadium Road, Karachi, Public School, Latifabad No 2, Hyderabad, and Police Training School, Wagon Road, Larkana.

According to a handout, the Health department, has decided to shift the venue of tests centres, which were planned for the candidates of Hyderabad and Larkana selection centres.

In view of the difficulties likely to be faced by the candidates in reaching the test centres at Cadet College Petaro and Cadet College Larkana, now it has been decided to shift test centres from there, the notification said.
