HYDERABAD, Sept 6: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief, Altaf Hussain, has said that his party wants to get rid of feudalism, capitalism and imperialism.
He said this while addressing a meeting at the Khidmat-i- Khalq Foundation’s office, organized in connection with the distribution of dowry and other items among deserving people on Friday.
Altaf Hussain said that only two per cent of the privileged class had been ruling over the country for the last 56 years. He advised other political parties to award tickets to genuine and committed workers instead of feudal lords and capitalists.
The KKK president Sheikh Liaquat Hussain said the Nazeer Hussain University (NHU), which had already been approved by the Sindh Assembly, would be established in Karachi.
He said Nazeer Hussain Medical Centres would also be set-in Karachi and Hyderabad which would be upgraded as medical colleges to be affiliated with the NHU.
He said one ambulance had been given to a child care unit in Hyderabad being established by the KKF. Mr Shaikh said those who claimed to be champions of the cause of Sindh were sitting in Dubai and London and only Altaf Hussain was raising a voice for the rights of Sindh.
