LAHORE, Aug 30: Afrasiab Khattak has resigned as chairperson of the HRCP.

His successor will be elected by the organization’s executive council at its meeting in October, the commission said in a press release on Friday.

Mr Khattak sent in his resignation a day before joining the ANP, saying he deemed it proper to resign before he returned to the party fold.
