KARACHI, Aug 30: Advisor to Sindh chief minister for health, Noman Saigal, has said that employees of the Sindh health department, including doctors and paramedical staff, must communicate with him directly for redressal of their grievances if they have any, instead of observing strikes or oraganizing demonstrations.
“ Provocative and uncalled for actions for acceptance of demands aggravate the miseries of patients visiting public hospitals daily and undermine the department’s image,” he said while talking to PPI at his office here on Saturday.
The advisor said the three-day strike observed by the nurses of the Civil Hospital had only added to the woes of a large number of patients, most of whom hailed from the underprivileged segments of the society.
He pledged to resolve all the genuine problems of employees provided they continue discharging their duties without resorting to unlawful methods.—PPI
