NCL attracts nine buyers

ISLAMABAD, July 21: National Construction Limited (NCL) that was offered for privatization without its liabilities has attracted nine prospective bidders.

The Privatization Commission had invited expression of interest (EoI) from reputable parties solely or as a consortium for entering the process to acquire the company.

A statement by the Privatization Commission said on Monday that nine parties included Aqeel Karim Dhedhi Securities (Pvt) Ltd, Karachi; Employees Management Group, Islamabad; Engineering Consultants International (Pvt) Ltd, Karachi; Meinhardt (Pakistan) (Pvt) Ltd, Karachi; Sachal Engineering Works (Pvt) Ltd, Islamabad; Sardar Muhammad Ashraf D. Baluch (Pvt) Ltd; SKB Engineering and Construction; Lahore-Skyways-Ammico-Lilley JV, Islamabad; and United Bank Limited.
