Missile sales to Egypt

WASHINGTON, July 19: The US Defence Department said on Friday it had notified Congress of a possible sale to Egypt of Raytheon Co. AIM-9M Sidewinder air-to-air missiles and related gear valued at up to $50 million.

It also proposed to sell Egypt two Lockheed Martin Corp. airborne processing centres worth up to $60 million for use aboard C-130H transport aircraft.—Reuters
