BAHAWALPUR, July 7: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two vagabonds at Chak 13-BC near here on Monday.

Police said the girl was playing in the street when Dari and Pervez took her to a deserted place and raped her. On a tip-off, her father along with neighbours hastened to the spot and found the ill-fated girl in serious condition. She was rushed to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital.

Baghdadul Jadid police have registered a case and are tracking down the accused.
