CHITRAL, July 5: Drivers abstained from coming on to the roads fearing being commandeered by the police to transport to the Shandur pologround, where the annual festival is commencing from July 7.

The commuters faced tremendous hardships due to the non-availability of vehicles to reach their destinations.

IJT AWARD: Islami Jamiat-i-Tulaba arranged a talent award show for the students securing top three positions in the matriculation examination.

Tehsil Nazim Amir Khan Mir gave away the prizes to the students while District amir of Jamaat-i-Islami Maulana Sher Aziz presided over the function.
