QUETTA, June 13: Over two dozens outlaws wanted by the Sindh and Balochistan police were arrested on Friday in the operation launched by the law enforcement agencies in Jaffarabad.

The law enforcement agencies recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition and three vehicles, including a motorbike, used by the dacoits in the attack on the Sibi deputy inspector-general of police and his escort.

Many hideouts of criminals were demolished in the region considered a ‘no go area’.

Provincial Chief Secretary Mohammad Ashraf and Inspector General of Police Dr Shoaib Suddle are supervising the operation.

The said the operation would continue till the arrest of those involved in the killing of the DIG and other police officials. “The Bugti Colony was considered a haven for criminals,” he said.
