JAKARTA, June 2: Indonesian exports declined slightly to $5 billion in April from $5.07 billion in March, the Central Bureau of Statistics said Monday.
Imports also declined to $2.69 billion from $2.88 billion the previous month, the bureau’s deputy chairman Slamet Mukeno said.
The trade surplus for April was $2.31 billion compared with $2.19 billion in March.
Non-oil and gas exports increased to $3.88 billion in April from $3.81 billion in March. Non-oil and gas imports declined to $2.19 billion from $2.27 billion, Mukeno told a press briefing.—AFP
