KARACHI, May 21: Three ships carrying chemicals, general cargo and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest owing to slow arrivals. As a result, four ships, Global Paramount, MOL Sincerity and APL Cairo to unload and load containers and Ibn Al-Moataz to offload and load general cargo were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed on Wednesday included Mar Challenger, Ibn Al-Moataz, and Rojesrck Naree, while Commo-jo-Jimenez, APL Cairo, Pu He and Hyundai Stride are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side at 67,735 tons comprising 8,050 tons of export cargo and 59,685 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Jo Brevik to load 30,000 tons of molasses, Anker Gracht, with general cargo and Jipro Dream, with chemicals.
