FRANKFURT, May 8: The ECB held its key interest rates steady on Thursday and provided no real clues as to when it might lower them. As widely expected, the ECB held its key rates steady at its regular monthly policy-setting meeting, leaving its central “refi” refinancing rate at 2.50 percent and the two other key rates — the discount and marginal lending rates — at 1.50 per cent and 3.50 per cent respectively.—AFP
