KARACHI, Dec 7: Karachi University has extended the date up to Dec 8 for the payment of fee and submission of required documents for admission to the Honours classes.

This was announced by a spokesman for the university in a statement on Friday.

He said the admission fee would be received during the banking hours.

Training course: A training course for librarians of colleges and schools on the use of information technology is being conducted from Jan 14 under the auspices of Karachi University’s Department of Library and Information Science.

He said the registration forms for this course could be submitted at the Department by Dec 10.

The 10-day course will consist of lecture and training sessions in accordance with the latest syllabus.

The participants would be apprised of the application of information technology for the libraries.

It was stated that the training course would help enhance the professional abilities of the participants.

The university spokesman said that on the conclusion of the course, certificates would be distributed to the participants.—APP
