Inspired spell by Mansoor

KARACHI, Dec 5: Mansoor Khan bowled A.O. CC in the semifinal of A.O. Super Cup Ramzan cricket tournament when they defeated Dewan CC by 66 runs at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium Wednesday.

A.O. batting first made 160 for the loss of seven wickets in their quota of 20 overs. Tariq Haroon hit three sixes and two boundaries in his 27-ball knock of 44. Arif Mahmood hit two sixes and a four in his 33 runs and Mushtaq Afridi made 29 with three boundaries and a six.

Dewan in reply were bundled out for 94 in 19.3 overs with Wusut Hussain top-scoring with 21. Off-break bowler Mansoor Khan triggered the collapse in Dewan batting by snapping up four wickets for 20 runs in 3.3 overs. Dr Junaid Ali Shah and Jaffer Qureshi chipped in with two wickets each.
